MEMU vehicle for the transport of explosives (preparation of blasting materials)
Another MEMU Upgrade Manufactured and Delivered for Trayal Company
We are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the production and delivery of another specialized MEMU vehicle for the transport of explosives, intended for the renowned Trayal company.
This modern MEMU (Mobile Explosives Manufacturing Unit) upgrade represents the latest generation of mobile plants for on-site explosives production, fully compliant with the highest safety and quality standards.
The upgrade is designed to enable efficient preparation of blasting materials and includes a complete set of tanks for all key components:
Tank for ammonium nitrate solution (capacity: 8 tons)
Tank for porous prilled ammonium nitrate (4 tons)
Tanks for sodium nitrate and bichromate solutions
Diesel fuel tank (750–800 liters)
The design and construction of this MEMU upgrade allow for the production of up to 12 tons of explosives using recipe 1, and 10–11 tons with recipe 2, ensuring a high level of process control and operational safety.
Advanced Technology and Safety Features
Special attention has been given to improving the structure and safety systems. New mounts for hydraulic pumps have been installed, along with enhanced hydromotors optimized for efficient operation, and advanced hydraulic valves with improved protection against micron-scale dust. Additionally, extra safety features have been introduced, such as a Total Stop button for rapid process shutdown and pressure transmitters that provide operators with real-time system monitoring.
Flexibility and Practicality in Every Detail
The auxiliary chassis enables easy disassembly of the tanks, while the newly designed doors on the side compartments improve access to auxiliary equipment and components. Telescopic and rotating hose holders, advanced mixers with hydromotors, and a complete hydraulic-pneumatic distribution system further enhance ergonomic and safe operation.
Along with standard ADR equipment—such as marking plates, anti-static protection, and fire extinguishers—this upgrade meets all current regulations for the transport and handling of hazardous materials.
